5 GTD Tips For 2009

1. Write down everything you do in a day
Doing this can help cut out time wasting activities and can also help identify free time. You will be amazed with all the time you can save using this method.

2. Make To-Do Lists
Write down your main objectives for each day and complete them in the order you write them down.

3. Become The King Of Lists
Create lists for things you are waiting on. Another list method that can be used in GTD (Getting Things Done) is making lists of what you need to do in different places. For example you may have a home list which has things that you must complete at home. Making lists can be time consuming so don’t go overboard with the amount you make.

4. Set Up A Inbox
Creating a easy to use inbox is simple and very cost effective. At our blog we have written a guide to creating a effective inbox. Click here to read part 1 of the 2 part series. Click here to read part 2 of the series.

5. Have a Place For Everything
Create specific places to keep objects so you can easily find them. An example can be putting your books in one place once you have read them. The above example would be easy to follow and should save time as you would know where to find it if you needed it.
